Most of the time I avoid noise - noise in images - here today, on a beautiful mid August day, we expand and glorify it.
Last two images taken out the window at Jamaica Station in Queens, the hub of hubs for the LIRR.

I know what you mean about noise, I don't use it often myself. But, sometimes, as in your bottom two photographs, it works nicely.
