Crazy between work and holiday planning. Tonight I will see The National at the Beacon Theater....the show will be shown on the internet:

From the band - "Thanks so much for your support over the past two years. We've had such a great time playing shows for all of you and we're excited to be finishing up at home in New York City tomorrow night. To celebrate, we're doing a live webcast from the Beacon Theater so you can share in the last night of the High Violet tour! On Saturday, December 17th, at 9 pm EST, visit www.americanmary.com to watch the show."

"Stay out super late tonight
picking apples, making pies
put a little something in our lemonade and take it with us
we’re half-awake in a fake empire
we’re half-awake in a fake empire

Tiptoe through our shiny city
with our diamond slippers on
do our gay ballet on ice
bluebirds on our shoulders
we’re half-awake in a fake empire
we’re half-awake in a fake empire

Turn the light out say goodnight
no thinking for a little while
lets not try to figure out everything at once
It’s hard to keep track of you falling through the sky
we’re half-awake in a fake empire
we’re half-awake in a fake empire"

She's Like A Rainbow

"Have you seen her dressed in blue
See the sky in front of you
And her face is like a sail
Speck of white so fair and pale
Have you seen the lady fairer

She comes in colors everywhere;
She combs her hair
She's like a rainbow
Coming colors in the air
Oh, everywhere
She comes in colors "

Fushia

There's pattern to my shot taking with this new BB. "Head on" and "pan" shots are hard to take due to speed of shooting and slower "film" speed (timing, movement). So I take more follow the subject shots since I have more control with these.

This type of shooting provides situations for closer framed compositions.

I almost brake for the color red. The BB captures it alive.

Back Hone

Good to see from the plane as I flew in the Empire State Building all lit up last night in green and red - too early for Christmas celebration, but life seems to be moving that way.

No, no, no. Not yet.

Take the Last Train to Clarksville

"I'll be waiting at the station,
We'll have time for coffee-flavored kisses,
And a bit of conversation, oh,
Oh, no, no, no,
Oh, no, no, no."

60 Minutes and All Day And All of the Night

Morn and night commutes....with an evening nodding to Degas.

To be at someones side.

"All day and all of the night
All day and all of the night
All day and all of the night"

And a soft toned goodbye to Andy Ronnie, I am sorry I stopped dropping by so long long long ago.

Maybe your segment minutes within the sixty was the first "blog."

Homeward Bound

Home, where my thought's escaping
Home, where my music's playing
Home, where my love lies waiting
Silently for me

Out of Town

Work takes me out of town for another week, this time to a smaller city, in West Virginia.

"From a town known as Wheeling West Virginia
Rode a boy with a six-gun in his hand
And his daring life of crime
Made him a legend in his time East and West of the Rio Grande

Well he started with a bank in Colorado
In the pocket of his vest, a Colt he hid
And his age and his size took the teller by surprise
And word spread of Billy the Kid...

Well he never traveled heavy
Yes, he always rode alone"

...see ya next week. Thanks for dropping in.

Nickles Trickle Down

About the only thing that has trickled down since 1980 is that the poor can collect soda and beer cans for their five cents deposit.

Good for the poor and it has solved global warming.

How the other half walks....
